Jatiya Party’s MP from Feni-3 constituency Masud Uddin Chowdhury and his wife Jesmin Masud Chowdhury tested positive for COVID-19.

The MP and his wife gave their sample for COVID-19 tests on Saturday and the results came back positive for the virus on Sunday.

Saif Uddin Ahmmed, younger brother of the MP, confirmed the matter.

Lt Gen (retd) Masud Uddin and his wife were admitted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on the advice of doctors, sources said.
